Croton Plant

A tall, sculptural Croton with dramatic foliage in deep green and burgundy tones, creating a strong vertical presence and a distinctly architectural look. Its branching form and richly colored leaves make it especially effective as a floor plant in an entryway, living room, office, or reception area.

This plant measures approximately 48 inches in overall height and comes in its original 10" D × 9" H plastic nursery pot. The decorative planter shown in the photo is not included and can be purchased separately from our planter collection.

Design Notes

A statement plant with an upright silhouette and dark, expressive foliage. Its scale makes it well suited to larger interiors where height and visual structure are needed.

Care Tips

• Place in bright, indirect light for the strongest foliage color; some gentle direct sun can also be beneficial.
• Water when the top ½–1 inch of soil begins to dry, keeping the soil evenly moist but never saturated.
• Keep in a warm environment and protect from cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
• Use well-drained soil and reduce watering somewhat during winter.

Pet Note

Croton (Codiaeum variegatum) is considered toxic to pets if ingested and may cause oral or gastrointestinal irritation. Keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
